Getting Excited
The project I am working on is picking up steam.
I'm getting paid enough to pay both our rents and maybe about 70% of our monthly food, plus the savings, which is good.
The really important thing I needed for the project to be successful was for my partner to start getting the work done.
It's strange -- it's really not the money. Not the project. The camaraderie.
I used to make 5x what I make now, but I am more satisfied and this brings me more pleasure and joy. I wake up excited to work, discuss, and program together.
We might be setting up ourselves for the biggest decision for the next 5 to 10 years, if we finish.
The next three months are incredibly important.
No time to lose, the project is big and a lot needs to be done.
